InstantSync Secure is a desktop tool for synchronizing, backing up, and replicating files over the FTP, FTPS and SFTP/SSH2 protocols. You could set up files synchronization quite easily. All it takes is to select Sync Task and then click Sync-Button. The underlying smart SyncDB technology ensures that only the new and changed files are transferred. The effect is that of instant synchronization. This tool could be very useful for web site updates, web server mirroring, remote server backup, script development and updates, log file downloads, product updates on on-line shops, backup of web servers, etc. Security of transfers is ensured through implementation of FTP over SSL/TSL, SFTP over SSH, FIPS 140-2 certified components, SSH public key authentication and SSL certificate validation rules. Transfer features include two-way file synchronization, one-way one way file synchronization, file transfer and move, as also file move and delete are available. File copy and file move and archive of source file to other folder are featured.

Monitoring of the operations is implemented through transfer history for all sync tasks, transfer result verification, extensive logging with auto-rotate schemes and transfer of log transfer results to Windows Event Log. A task editor for task editing and sync preview, a task wizard for creating new tasks and task optimizer for faster transfers make the tool easy to use. Features that help accelerate transfers include a multi-threaded implementation, limiting speed of transfers, file compression on-the-fly and Ipv6 as well as UTF8 support. This is a very good tool for FTP implementation.
